There are two bedrooms at the Parpati Kunda Home Stay, with two beds in each. The beds come with a pillow and a thick blanket, and extra blankets are available if needed. The cost per room is Rs 300/night. The bedrooms are right off our main dining and living area, and are cozy and close to the fire. Click on an image below to see a slideshow of photos of our home.
For food, guests are encouraged to enjoy the same food as the family, and are invited to join everyone around the fire for meals. Dinner is often the traditional Nepali dish of dal bhat , with breakfast being a bowl of tsempa porridge. Special Gatlang dishes also involve the dhindo set. Wash it all down with a cup of warm raksi or a mug of Gatlang coffee (coffee with raksi). Click on a photo below to see a gallery of some traditional dishes.
Guests can also order off our menu, which includes a variety of soup, egg and potato dishes, as well as chapati, Tibetan bread and pancakes for breakfast.
